Black Label Society has returned with a fierce announcement: a new studio album and a riff-first single that signal the band’s next chapter. Fans can expect the full record next spring, while tour plans roll out across North America to support the release.
What the new album brings: Engines of Demolition set for March 27, 2026
The band led by guitarist and frontman Zakk Wylde revealed their next record, Engines of Demolition, due March 27, 2026. The first taste arrives in the form of a heavy, riff-driven single titled “Name in Blood”. The track leans into the classic Black Label Society sound, with guitar work front and center.

Wylde framed the album as a candid account of recent years. He described it as an emotional and musical journey through peaks and valleys. One standout is a tribute written for a close friend, a heartfelt ballad credited as “Ozzy’s Song”.
Pre-orders for the album are now active through the band’s official channels and major retailers. Expect physical formats and digital bundles, along with possible special editions and merch packs.
Support acts and touring strategy for the upcoming run
Black Label Society will hit the road in North America to promote Engines of Demolition. The tour pairs Zakk Wylde’s other project, Zakk Sabbath, with opening sets by Dark Chapel. Many of Dark Chapel’s members have ties to BLS, giving the bill a cohesive, heavy feel.
