Señorita Sometimes “Miss Sometimes” Review

Señorita Sometimes

Miss Sometimes

Señorita Sometimes frontwoman, Stacy Sevelin, has a unique voice. Most of the time, it is smooth and buttery – reminiscent of Kim Deal. Pure magic happens every so often when her voice breaks up a bit, while remaining perfectly in key, creating a subtle but powerful vibrato. For her first band and debut album, she enlisted some well known veterans of the Colorado scene. Sean Speer’s drumming adds voltage to any project he is involved with. Menyus Borocz, most known for his melodic bass playing in Wire Faces, delivers a ton of inventive and memorable guitar lines on this album.
