Analog Son w/ Death by Dub & Digg — Cervantes’ Other Side Denver

Analog Son has made a name for themselves by being Denver’s all-star purveyors of funk led by Jordan Linit and Josh Fairman.

The group formed as a Steely Dan-Esque studio project with a cast of rotating musicians from The New Mastersoudns, Lettuce, The Funky Meters, Dumpstaphunk, and more.

The band’s latest studio effort and fourth full-length album ‘Funky Mother’ out on Color Red finds the band with a steadfast lineup of some of Denver’s finest musicians cast in their regular band.

‘Funky Mother’ was produced by Eddie Roberts, founder of Color Red and bandleader of The New Mastersounds. Analog Son is currently in the middle of an “Analog Sunday” content series where they have been sharing videos every Sunday in preparation for the show at Cervantes’.

The series will culminate with an animated music video to be released this upcoming Sunday. Death by Dub, another Color Red artist opens the night playing an original brand or instrumental reggae & dub that’s fronted by Dan Africano and Scott Flynn. Digg, local funk-rock group opens the night.
