

On Saturday, May 30th, SpaceX’s Crew Dragon is destined (weather permitting) to become the first private spacecraft to carry humans into orbit.

This will be the first time NASA astronauts have launched from American soil since the shuttle program was axed in 2011. Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley are set to establish a few firsts today.
The launch is currently on schedule for 3:22PM ET. (1:22 MST) marking the first time in nearly a decade that NASA astronauts have launched into orbit from Cape Canaveral, Florida.
