$100,000 To Help Our Community — (SALT) Magazine Grants

A Letter from Our Publisher:

Dear Readers:

The unprecedented outbreak of COVID-19 has taken everyone by surprise. We have watched over the past two weeks as businesses, arts organizations, and creatives everywhere have struggled to acclimate in these
“new times”

We had to suspend our print operation, and naturally, we were feeling pretty down about it. This virus has prevented us from doing what we love. It has prevented many people from doing what they love. It was a rough landing for us all, to say the least.

Even though it took a week to re-group, we have come out of the shock of this crisis to find ourselves in a position to help maintain the vibrant community we and many others have worked so hard to foster over the years.

I am pleased to announce our (SALT) grant program. Over the next year, we will be giving away $100,000 to our community (Digital & Print advertising across all our properties). The recipients of these grants will be businesses, arts organizations, and non-profits who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19.

We must take care of each other. This is far from over, and some of the most difficult times seem to be ahead of us. It is up to us, the folks who have the means in any community, to lift each other up and support one another. The creative scene will only die if we let it die. Rest assured, (SALT) Mag and many other businesses are already stepping up to do everything possible to make sure that does not happen.

We will get through this together.
As always, stay at home and wash your damn hands.
