Underground Music Showcase Full Lineup Announced

The Underground Music Showcase has announced its full lineup, and here at (SALT) we figured we would give you the skinny on some of the names you will be undoubtedly checking out in late July of this year.

HONNE

This should be a good one, James Hatcher and Andy Clutterbuck (the two producers behind the project) are influenced by the likes of Al Greene and Bill Withers. Judging by their other live performances, this should be a sight not to be missed.

CHICANO BATMAN

Chicano Batman is a four-piece American band based in Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2008, the band is composed of Eduardo Arenas, Carlos Arévalo, Bardo Martinez and Gabriel Villa. Check them out below.

Black Mountain

Black Mountain is a Canadian psychedelic rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia. Take a listen below.

TUXEDO

This one we are excited about – Mayer Hawthorne & Jake One make up this band. You NEED to see them. Check it out below.

EARTHGANG

Get here, this is surely going to be a crazy one. EarthGang is an American hip hop duo all the way from Atlanta, Georgia, composed of Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot.

STILL WOOZY

Still Woozy will be performing at UMS this year, really driving home the underground part of this festival. This one should be on your calendar as well. Mainly because (from what we can tell) you will regret it in a few years when Still Woozy makes a big splash. Check it out below.
